Suzanne Dupree Howe brings almost two decades of experience placing attorneys in firms large and small, as well as Fortune 500 and smaller companies.
Formerly a Managing Director for a nationally-known recruiting firm for over twelve years, Suzanne has a tremendous record of success. She has placed associates of all levels, counsel, patent agents, and partners into firms across the U.S., within every conceivable practice area, in AMLAW 100, AMLAW 200, and smaller firms and boutiques.
Suzanne recently joined forces with former colleagues to provide more focused, individualized attention on both candidates and law firm searches with North Star Attorney Search. She holds a JD from the University of Texas School of Law and practiced litigation in Austin, Texas for five years before following her passion as a recruiter.
Suzanne brings a candidate-focused approach and views herself not only as a recruiter but as a career coach and friend. She is always happy to speak with attorneys, even if it’s just to serve as a sounding board for the next stage in their career. She loves to hear from former candidates and referrals, and finds personal connections to be her favorite part of recruiting.
When Suzanne is not recruiting, she loves spending time with her husband and two kids, enjoying the outdoors, traveling to Europe, Colorado, and Hawaii, seeing Oscar movies, occasionally wishing she lived in 18th century England, and eating chips and queso.
